Federal Member for Flinders

I am working to:

ｧ Protect the coastline - especially cleaning up Gunnamatta Beach, so that our children can play on the same beaches we grew up enjoying; ｧ Convince the State Government to include the Peninsula in the MET Zone for public transport; ｧ Help bring more doctors to the Peninsula; ｧ Add to the record number of aged care places on the Peninsula; ｧ Provide practical education opportunities such as securing funding for the upgrade of the Rosebud TAFE; ｧ Secure Point Nepean as one of the great public parks and marine education centres in Australia; ｧ Improve sporting facilities such as the establishment of a skate park at Rosebud; ｧ Fight for and upgrade to the Bentons Road intersections with both Moorooduc Highway and Nepean Highway in Mt Martha; ｧ Convince the State Government to install traffic lights on the dangerous Truemans Road and Nepean Highway intersection in Rosebud;

In Western Port

ｧ Complete the secondary college in Somerville and work for a Somerville police station; ｧ Improve safety on the Hastings-Dandenong and Frankston-Flinders Roads ｧ Help upgrade emergency services at Koo Wee Rup Hospital and add to the record number of new aged care services around Westernport ｧ Deliver natural gas for Balnarring and Somers; ｧ Help rejuvenate Western Port痴 Coastline and mangrove areas, especially in the Coastal Village area. ｧ Ensure the Oberon Submarine tourist attraction is built to boost jobs and revitalise the Hastings foreshore; ｧ Work towards the completion of the Balnarring to Bittern bike track.
